Hyde: It’s been a month and the best you can do is twenty visits a day? Seriously, you did think blogging was easy didn’t you?
Jonel: Yes, I thought it was easy. I read all the tips and I’m doing all I can. What else would you want me to do?
Hyde: Dude just stop once your hosting is over. Better yet, stop wasting your time writing, you’re just embarrassing yourself with your boring shit. As you can see, nobody really cares.
Jonel: Dude, just think of the statistics here. there are about a hundred million blogs right now compared to what – twelve billion humans? Let’s just say just one billion of those people have a computer and internet access, isn’t it still a lot of potential?
Hyde: So that was your plan! Isn’t it stupid? You just thought of making a blog and hoped to make money out of it and that was it? And another thing: Why did you pick this kind of blog then? You think people need your advice? You can’t even help yourself! Your first two ideas were a lot better!
Jonel: Yes, but won’t I just be posting trash then? What? The suicide manual? The blog of death? Of course. If you still wish to die then die, but I’m not going to teach people to kill themselves and I don’t want to post just for the sake of posting something and making money!
Hyde: Ok, you have a point. But wasn’t it your idea to make money out of a blog? Where’s the money? As a matter of fact, you’re wasting money, paying for your web hosting and registration. Plus, you’re using up a lot of our rest time. We should have been asleep by now. We need sleep and you know that.
Jonel: Just a little patience. We are pushing through. I have submitted to blog carnivals and did a few other steps.
Hyde: But you’re not having any luck with it right? C’mon man, stop wasting our time…
Jonel: No, if we give up now, we will never know. Admit it, you’ve always been a quitter, that is why you have a lot of ”what if’s” hanging around your sick mind.
Hyde: I was never the gambler. I have kept us safe. If I let us take risks, then where would we be now?
Jonel: Okay, you have a point, but this is a risk we should take. For once, just push on through. Wasn’t it your dream to be a writer too? We’ll never get to publish our book, but here we can reach people without relying on some book company! Just look at our pantheism articles. We are spreading our beliefs. Remember that guy from Lithuania? If we didn’t publish this, then it will always be just you and me talking for all of time. I know we have great ideas, but nothing is ever going to happen if we didn’t share them.
Hyde: But we did share them to others before.
Jonel: And what happened with that? Nobody took us seriously right? Save a few people.
Hyde: Actually, just one person I think…
Jonel: My point exactly. But look, now our audience is the world! We just have to keep doing this. If we don’t make money then fine! But we are reaching people. We can reach more people, just give it time. Isn’t that what we always wanted? To share our ideas and find people like us who would understand us? We are pantheists and we must do our part. This is it. This is our part. We must share our ideas and hope to light the way for others. Help me. I can’t do this without your half.
Hyde: Okay. We will do this. You have my half but that does not mean that I’ll just let you do as you please. We are in this together okay, together. This is for our dream so you better do this right. I can’t believe I’m agreeing with this but okay, just go.
Jonel: Okay then we have a deal! Let’s go to bed. Tomorrow, we write another great article!
